Proposal Deadlines

  • Fall and Spring proposals: accepted on a rolling basis
  • Summer proposals: deadline is April 15
  • Please note: no proposals will be reviewed between May 15 – August 15 , and December 15 – January 15

Eligibility and Guidelines

  • Any student enrolled in an RLL course is eligible to apply for funding.
  • Projects must match the academic level of the student and include clear learning goals.
  • Funding is contingent upon the submission of a final reflection and photos demonstrating student engagement within 14 days of the project’s completion.
    1. Local projects: Faculty submit photos and a final reflection with a few student quotes about the work completed.
    2. International projects: Students submit a final reflection and photos documenting their engagement with communities during voluntary work.
  • Reflections and photos may be featured on the new ELI webpage and the Institute for Social Concerns site, highlighting RLL initiatives. Please provide high-quality images in your reflection form(s). Short videos are also welcome!
  • Funding can be transferred directly to a student’s or faculty member’s bank account or reimbursed to the faculty member. Please note: transfers to personal accounts may be considered taxable income.

All applications are submitted via Google Forms.

All submissions are final, and the forms do not auto-save your response. You may preview questions for each form to prepare your response.
