Biography
I teach two Spanish CEL classes, Once Upon a Time: Children's Literature and Community Connections, a course that combines two of my passions: children's literature and community engagement and ROSP 20810, a class in which we work with the Raclin Museum of Art where we get to work with a variety of pieces from the collection and help produce materials for use by the museum in K-12 outreach in the community. I also have the privilege of working with an incredible cohort of engaged faculty and community partners to impact students' learning and formation while collaborating to contribute to our local community in positive ways.
Research Interests
Community-Engaged Learning, intercultural competence, children's literature, e-Portfolios, scholarship of teaching and learning.
