Olivia Crowley is in her first year of the M.A. program in Spanish. Before starting at the University of Notre Dame, she earned her Bachelor's degree from Manhattan College with a double major in English and Spanish. She was a Lab Instructor for Spanish 201 at Manhattan College as well as a Spanish Tutor and Writing Consultant. She spent a summer studying abroad in Madrid, Spain, which inspired her to pursue an advanced degree in Spanish. She currently teaches Beginning Spanish at The University of Notre Dame. Her primary area of research interest is Spain's Golden Age, specifically the effect honor, religion, and gender had on literature of the time period.
