M.A. French and Francophone Studies
Jennifer is midwest born and raised between Grand Rapids, Michigan and the South Bend area. She got her B.A. in French Studies and a minor in Photography from Indiana University South Bend during which she spent one consecutive year in Toulon, France. She went to Prague after her degree to get a certification in TEFL and then went on to teach English near Jakarta, Indonesia. She has a passion for language study and is an advocate for foreign language acquisition and literacy.
She hopes to continue teaching French and to expand her own abilities and cognition of teaching/learning strategies after completing her Master’s in French and Francophone Studies here at Notre Dame. She also hopes to build a dark room to continue her passion for film photography.
