Research Interests
Christina Sollitto is a BA/MA student who graduated from the University of Notre Dame last spring with an honors major in Latin American and Iberian Studies and minors in Italian and German. She is interested in colonial and baroque literature, ethnography and travel writing as well as on Deleuzian approaches to Latin American literature. She is looking forward to continuing her research at the graduate level. She wrote her undergraduate thesis on Hans Staden′s 16th century travelogue True History: An Account of Cannibal Captivity in Brazil.
