Biography
Borja Gama de Cossío got his Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. His areas of research are early 16th-century visionaries, medical humanities and digital humanities. His first book The Revelations of Sor María de Santo Domingo: a Study and a Translation, co-written with María José Álvarez Faedo (SPLASH 2023), is the first translation into English of the Revelaciones of María de Santo Domingo and explores her spirituality and her role as the reformer of the Dominican Order in Castile. He loves teaching all levels of Spanish, classes on social justice and community-engaged courses.

Spanish Language through Content, Social Justice, Early Modern Literature, Medieval and Early Modern Visionaries, Community-Engaged Learning and Medical Humanities.
