Luis Bravo defended with great praise from his doctoral committee (Profs. Olivera-Williams, director, ROLL, Heller, ROLL, Pensado, History, and Kuhnheim, Brown U) his dissertation is entitled “Poéticas de la liberación: Ibero Gutiérrez y los 60 globales.” He has completed his Ph.D. program in Spanish within two years.
Luis Bravo, Ph.D. will assume a position as professor of Latin American literature at the famous institute of advanced studies, Instituto de Profesores Artigas, and at the Universidad de Montevideo, Montevideo, Uruguay this academic year 2018-2019.
