The Graduate School and the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning
awarded Ruth Solarte and David DeGrood with two Outstanding Graduate
Student Teacher Awards. This award recognizes graduate students who
demonstrate excellent teaching at Notre Dame. Students were nominated
by Professors Joshua Lund, Carlos A. Jáuregui, Azeb Haileselassie and
others.
On Wednesday, April 17 the students received the awards at a special
dinner and award ceremony at the Morris Inn. In the pictures the
awardees Solarte and DeGrood, the director of the Kaneb center Kevin
Barry, Carlos A. Jáuregui, Azeb Haileselassie, Maria Rosa Olivera
Williams and MA student Elijah Andrews.
