Cannibalism and Art

On October 7th, Professor C. Jauregui’s “The Symbolic Enchilada” class had the privilege of speaking with the curator Julia Morandeira Arrizabalaga by videoconference. Students partook in a virtual tour of  the “Canibalia” exhibit (curated by Morandeira and originally displayed at the Kadist Art Foundation, Paris | Feb 6 – April 26, 2015) followed by a Q&A session. The exhibit explores the construction of the cannibal as the bricolage of historical documents, contemporary works and objects.
