On Tuesday, October 23, 2018, Silvia Guerra will deliver the public lecture "Maldonado: enclave fundamental en la entrada del Río de la Plata," based on her research of one of the excellent Latin American history collections at the Hesburgh Library, the "María Díaz de de Guerra" Collection. This lecture will be in Spanish. On Wednesday, October 24, 2018, Silvia Guerra will do a bilingual reading of her latest anthology of poetry "Un mar en madrugada/A Sea at Dawn" with Jesse Lee Kercheval, Zona Gale Professor of English, University of Wisconsin, Madison.
