After Hurricane Maria ravaged the island of Puerto Rico on Sept. 20, 2017, many schools and universities were closed for weeks, or even months. One of the firsts institutions to open its doors to students, faculty, and staff, was the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. We invite you to join the panel “Learning in a Time of Crisis: Stories From the University of Sagrado Corazón after Hurricane María”, to listen to Sagrado’s story of recovery and resilience in the aftermath of disaster. The panel will feature Sagrado’s President, Gilberto Marxuach, the Director of the School of Communications Ferré Rangel, Dr. Gabriel Paizy, and Prof. Sonia Fritz. Reception to follow. You can find more information on this and other events at listeningtopuertorico.org.
