Professor Lazzara, University of California, Davis, one of the leading scholars in Latin American memory studies, is the author of Luz Arce and Pinochet's Chile: Testimony in the Aftermath of State Violence (2011), Telling Ruins in Latin America (2009), co-edited with Vicky Unruh, Chile in Transition: The Poetics and Politics of Memory (2006), among a large corpus of ground-breaking articles and chapters in prestigious journals and books.
