Biography

Giuseppe Moledda is a first-year Master’s student in Italian Studies. He previously earned his Bachelor and Master’s degrees at the University of Bologna. His undergraduate thesis in Dante Studies examined the relationship between the symbolism of the rock and the idea of nobility in Dante’s works. This research laid the foundation for his graduate thesis on the myth of Amphion, tracing its evolution from its classical origin to Dante’s Comedy. Conducted in Paris in collaboration with the Société Dantesque de France, this study explored the evolution of the liberal arts, the interplay between poetry and politics, and the manipulation of mythical narratives across different ideological paradigms. Since 2025 he has served as assistant editor for the Revue des études dantesques.
