“Lupe Under the Sun”

-

Location: Andrews Auditorium, Center for Social Concerns

The film captures the life of a Mexican immigrant who decides to come to the USA to work, and he does it for many years in the sector of agriculture. Lupe, the main character, represents the thousands of stories we hear in the media. However, these stories are also part of our university and community. For this purpose, at the end of the film, we will have a Notre Dame student who will share her and her family’s story, which is one of overcoming and challenges. She is co-VP for the Student Coalition for Immigration Advocacy on campus, a student organization.
