In one 24-hour period last week, suicide bombs in Beirut and Baghdad, and a series of bomb and gun attacks in Paris, left more than 200 people dead and scores injured and traumatized. All of the attacks were attributed to ISIS.
Each panelist will speak for 10 minutes, leaving ample time for questions.
Join us to examine recent terror attacks and the growing international threat posed by ISIS, and discuss how we should respond.

About the faculty presenters:
Peter Wallensteen is the Richard G. Starmann Sr. Research Professor of Peace Studies at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. He is the author of Understanding Conflict Resolution: Peace, War, and the Global System.
Olivier Morel is Assistant Professor of Romance Languages and Literatures. His research focuses on French and international cinema and social concerns.
Catherine Perry is Associate Professor of French. Her research focuses on representations of Islam in contemporary Francophone literature and film.
Michael Desch is Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science. He specializes in international relations, U.S. foreign policy, and international security.
