This project is an interdisciplinary effort to engage the Notre Dame community with Latin American culture through contemporary cinema.
For our first presentation, we are showing Los Viajes del viento (The Wind Journeys) (2009) by Ciro Guerra, on April 1st at 7:00PM. The filmmaker will appear after the show via Skype to engage with the audience and answer some questions related to the film.
This screening inaugurates our first thematic series “Narratives of Conflict in the New Colombian Cinema”, which will continue on the Fall semester 2015.
