Benvenuto Presidente! (Riccardo Milani, 2013) - In a small mountain village a man with the famous name of Giuseppe Garibaldi, known by everybody as Peppino, lives a quiet life. One day, due to a political error, something amazing happens: Peppino is mistakenly elected President of the Italian Republic. Peppino’s joyful madness, his humanity and his disarming honesty in a time of crisis catch the institutions by surprise and win over the disheartened country. However, on the horizon loom conspiracies, diplomatic incidents and seedy political plots.
Will be shown on Monday, December 1, 6:30 p.m.
