The lecture program includes the artist’s grandson and director of the Fundación Guayasamín—Mr. Pablo Guayasamín Madriñán, Professor Michael Handelsman of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville—a renowned scholar on Ecuador, particularly on Afro-Ecuadorian communities, and John Warren—Chairman of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi.
