Announcing the Year 2012 Annual Awards of the Albert Ravarino Italian Studies Travel Scholarship

Thanks to a generous gift from the Albert Ravarino family, the Italian Studies Program is pleased to announce the year 2013 annual competition for travel in support of summer research and foreign study in Italy. Grants will be made in amounts not to exceed $3,500, and will not normally cover all expenses. Notre Dame graduate and undergraduate students who are planning to pursue research or a formal program of summer study in Italy are invited to apply. Students must have completed at least one year of Italian language. The course work will normally be in Italian; will involve the study of Italian language, literature, and culture; and must be applicable to a student's degree program at the University of Notre Dame.

Recommended programs for foreign study include, but are not limited to: Boston University in Padua, Sapienza University of Rome Summer School, Columbia University in Venice, Società Dante Alighieri in Siena, Università per Stranieri in Perugia, Sorrento Lingue.
