Biography

Professor Werner, the recipient of a 1982 AATF summer scholarship to study at the Université Laval, in Québec, has taught in the Department from 1989 until her retirement to Emerita in 2019. Her work was concerned with Second Language Acquisition at all levels. In 2006, Professor Werner received a Kaneb Award for faculty in recognition of her outstanding contributions to undergraduate education.
