My primary academic interest is Indigenous movements and popular sectors in Colonial and Post-Colonial Southern Andes. Fundamentally, I examine politics, language, and cultures of these Andean communities.  Dissertation: “From Cacique to Varayoc: Transformations on Community Politics in Late Colonial Altiplano.”
