M.A. French and Francophone Studies

Research Interest

Joseph is a first year Masters student in the French and Francophone Studies program. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Arts in French Language with a concentration in French for the Global Community and a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology with minors in European Studies and Religion. During these studies he spent the 2014 - 2015 academic year studying at the Sorbonne Paris IV. Here he earned the B2 DELF and the C1 DALF. His interests span across the disciplines and on a summer research grant studied in Contemporary Africa at the University of Geneva. His interests focus on Contemporary France and Francophone Africa. MA in French and Francophone Studies
