Ph.D. in Literature
John Marchese is a third year student in the Ph.D. in Literature program. He previously earned an M.A. in Philosophy at Loyola University of Chicago and recently completed his M.A. in Iberian and Latin American Studies at Notre Dame. His research is focused on the representation of the Church's ambiguous response to poverty and hunger in twentieth-century Latin American literature.
