Biography

Beatrice Maria Rosso is a first-year PhD student in Italian Studies at the University of Notre Dame. She earned her bachelor's degree in Italian Language and Literature at Alma Mater Studiorum - the University of Bologna and her master's in Italian Studies in the same university. She is particularly interested in Dante Studies, especially in the relationship between the poem and theology. She is also interested in Renaissance literature, especially Tasso's Gerusalemme Liberata. While she spent a semester during her BA in Budapest, Hungary, she also took several courses in English Literature and comparative literature.
