Welcome Teaching Professor Angie Ortiz from UPAEP

The Department of Romances Languages and Literatures is thrilled to welcome Professor Angie Ortiz, a visiting professor from UPAEP who will be teaching Spanish language and culture during the spring semester (2023). Professor Ortiz specializes in applied linguistics, the teaching of Spanish as a new language, and the teaching of new languages to the cognitively and physically impaired. She also serves as the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Teaching and Cultural Diversity at UPAEP in Puebla, Mexico. We are delighted to welcome Angie, and we are excited that our undergraduates at the 200 level will be able to benefit from her experience and expertise.
